Hello All,
Initially I used this site as a resume for finding employment, the modern day electronic portfolio. Since I am now employed, and enjoying my job, there is no reason for me to really have an electronic resume. I go by the name Hatrickwah online because it was a cool name in High School and, well, it stuck. It may be because I’m not very creative or it may be because I’m not up for changing it.
Today I am happily married and employed, a proud representative of Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. My job as described on paper is simply, inside sales rep. Unofficially, I am also responsible for warehousing, shipping and receiving, and any other random task that may arise. I do handyman work on the side for no additional charge for Bishop in addition to whatever I do on the side. Having worked as a handyman initially upon moving to Wyoming, and having completed numerous projects in my previous residence in Michigan, I have quickly learned how to do quality handyman work.
While living here in Wyoming I have worked with a number of other handy craftsmen who have taught me many things, as well as my own trials. I enjoy building things with my hands, because at the end of the day, or project, there is a result you can see, touch, feel, and so forth. I have decided to turn this website into a location where I can show off what I have accomplished as well as a place where perhaps someone else might find some ideas.
In addition to hard wood working, I have created countless websites, built numerous computer systems, implemented a few networks, and toiled in computing outside of the usual Windows and Mac world. While I always find myself back in Vista, it is fun to experiment with alternatives such as Linux and BSD. My most visible computer accomplishments are seen throughout Keweenaw Brewing Company, from their website to the coffee shop style wireless internet in the tap room.
Thanks for the visit.
